Rapper Blueface, known for his hit song "Thotiana," was sentenced to four years in prison on August 9, 2024, after violating his probation. This decision follows a 2021 incident in which Blueface assaulted a security guard at a nightclub in the San Fernando Valley. Initially, he had been placed on probation with a suspended sentence of two to five years, but a series of legal issues led to his probation being revoked.

Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, has already served over 400 days, which could reduce his prison time significantly. According to his manager, Wack 100, he could be released within the next 9 to 10 months if he receives credits for time served.

This legal setback is a significant blow to Blueface's career, which has been marred by various controversies. Alongside his own troubles, his former girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, is also facing serious legal issues and could serve up to eight years in prison for drug-related charges.

The sentencing has sparked widespread discussion, with Blueface's father expressing dissatisfaction with the harshness of the sentence, while his manager remains optimistic about a potential comeback after his release.

Details are still emerging. Stay tuned.
