Position Overview:
Are you passionate about music, audio production, and creating dynamic soundscapes? Join our team at SPLIFF99FM as a Volunteer Production Assistant! In this role, you’ll contribute to the behind-the-scenes magic of our shows and ads, helping to shape the sound of our LGBTQ+ focused Hip Hop station.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit audio recordings to ensure smooth transitions and clear sound quality.
Mix music tracks to enhance shows, promotions, and advertisements.
Create and edit sound effects to elevate our station’s content.
Collaborate with producers and on-air talent to maintain our station's unique sound.
Support live broadcasts and pre-recorded sessions as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Familiarity with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, GarageBand, Pro Tools, etc.) or a willingness to learn.
An interest in music mixing, sound design, or radio production.
A creative ear and strong attention to detail.
Passion for Hip Hop and R&B music and a desire to support the LGBTQ+ community.
Reliability, enthusiasm, and a team-player mindset.
