Social Media Content Creator - Volunteer

Position Overview:
Are you passionate about social media, storytelling, and connecting with audiences? Join SPLIFF99FM as a Volunteer Social Media Content Creator! In this role, you’ll be the voice of our station online, managing our social media accounts to promote shows, engage with our community, and amplify our unique LGBTQ+ and Hip Hop culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and schedule engaging posts to promote shows, station events, and special features.
Manage station accounts on platforms like Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook.
Develop creative content, including graphics, short videos, and polls.
Respond to comments and messages to build a connection with our audience.
Collaborate with on-air personalities and producers to align messaging with station branding.
Stay on top of social media trends and suggest innovative ways to grow our online presence.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with social media platforms and basic content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, etc.).
Creativity, strong writing skills, and an eye for design.
A love for Hip Hop, R&B, and engaging with diverse audiences.
Knowledge of or interest in LGBTQ+ issues and representation in media.
Reliability, responsiveness, and a proactive attitude.
